Green Bay Packers @ Minnesota Vikings Sun. Nov. 21st 2010 1pm EST
There are plenty of heated rivalries in the NFL these days, but one of the most heated over the past two years has been the Minnesota Vikings going head to head against the Green Bay Packers.
Even though the Packers are without a doubt the better team coming into this matchup and have the edge in the race for the NFC North division title, the Vikings are in a must win situation coming into Week 11 and this will be the last time that three-time NFL MVP quarterback Brett Favre will get a shot to beat his former team before he calls it quits. This always keeps me interested and is a great NFL football betting matchup.
Despite the Minnesota Vikings failing to live up to expectations this season and possibly missing the playoffs entirely after losing six games in the first nine games of the year, the Green Bay Packers are only favored to come out on top in this matchup with a -3 point spread.
Coming into Week 11 both the Vikings and the Packers have had quite a few problems with injuries to some key players on the offensive side of the football like tight end Jermichael Finley (knee, out for the season) and wide receiver Sidney Rice (hip).
With that being said, these two NFC Conference heavyweights have had trouble playing consistently well on offense, but they will not be backing down to one another this weekend as both teams will be out for blood.
This game will without a doubt be an all out battle from start to finish and could result in a lot of points put on the scoreboard, but I believe in the end the Minnesota Vikings will be the team to come out on top as Brett Favre will be giving it his all and lead his team to victory.
