Minnesota Vikings (12-4)
The Minnesota Vikings received some good news recently as they learned that three-time NFL MVP quarterback Brett Favre would be back under center this season, but even though one of the best quarterbacks of all-time will be leading the franchise once again, there have been some questions surrounding the banged up receiving corps.
Even though Pro Bowler Sidney Rice (hip) is set to miss about eight games this season and Percy Harvin has been dealing with severe migraines, the Silver Fox has the ability to make players around him better and that should be enough to lead them to a second straight NFC North division title. We really like the Vikings this year and feel the online sportsbooks will have favorable odds that we can really capitalize on throughout the season.
Green Bay Packers (11-5)
A lot of attention in the NFC North gets given to the Minnesota Vikings, and for good reason, but the Green Bay Packers are done flying under the radar as they are set to have another breakout year this season.
With Aaron Rodgers looking as good as any quarterback in the league and the Packers defense being amongst the best in the league, Green Bay will be playoff bound and could give Brett Favre and company a run for their money in the NFC North division.
Chicago Bears (7-9)
Last season was an absolute nightmare for Jay Cutler (league-high 26 interceptions) and the Chicago Bears as nothing seemed to go right after superstar linebacker Brian Urlacher went down with a season ending wrist injury in the first game of the year.
This year the Bears will turn things around as they might be able to contend for a playoff spot in the NFC Conference, but they won’t be able to hand with the Vikings or Packers in their division.
Detroit Lions (2-14)
Even though the Detroit Lions finished with a pitiful 2-14 record last season, Matthew Stafford and company showed signs of promise and will almost certainly improve their record this time around.
