#1 Green Bay Packers (7-0)
The road to an undefeated season is looking more and more like the path the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers are taking as they have won seven straight games and look like they could continue this hot streak for nine more games.
It will be interesting to see whether or not Aaron Rodgers and company can keep this ride going, but with their remaining schedule it looks like a distinct possibility that the cheese heads could run the table.
#2 New England Patriots (5-1)
The New England Patriots were able to keep their spot at number two on this list through the bye week, but that could easily change after next week as they are set to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8. Until the Packers lose a game, the Patriots won’t get ranked any higher than they are now.
#3 New Orleans Saints (5-2)
After an amazing 62-point explosion against the winless Indianapolis Colts, the New Orleans Saints have cemented themselves as arguably the best offense in the NFL. This game couldn’t have come at a better time for Drew Brees and company as they were able to bounce back from a bad loss to the division rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
#4 San Francisco 49ers (5-1)
Coming off the bye week, the San Francisco 49ers should continue to fire on all cylinders as they are set to face off against the lowly Cleveland Browns in Week 8. With another win, the 49ers will be rolling with a 6-1 record and an NFC West division title on the horizon.
#5 Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2)
The Pittsburgh Steelers looked like a team on the verge of a disappointing season this year, but now they have been able to turn things around and might be able to contend for the AFC North division title at season’s end.
