#1 Green Bay Packers (5-0)
It would be hard to argue at this point in the in NFL regular season that the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers aren’t the best all-around team in the league. With five straight wins to start their title defense, Aaron Rodgers and company are firing on all cylinders with no signs of slowing down.
The Packers may have a relatively weak schedule from here on out with just a few tough matchups left on in the coming weeks against the San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders and the Detroit Lions (twice), but right now this team is about as close to unbeatable as we have seen in the NFL.
#2 New England Patriots (4-1)
After Week 5’s win over the arch division rival New York Jets, it is safe to say that Bill Belichick and company are headed for a run at the Super Bowl this season with yet another AFC East division title to their credit.
As long as the Patriots can hold off the upstart Buffalo Bills, Tom Brady will be in the running for a second straight NFL MVP award and a chance to contend for a fourth Super Bowl title. Packers vs. Patriots Super Bowl?
#3 New Orleans Saints (3-1)
The New Orleans Saints got a much needed bye week this past weekend and it couldn’t have come at a better time in order to heal up for the second half of the season. As long as the Saints can stay healthy, they should be playoff bound this season and win the NFC South division title.
#4 Detroit Lions (5-0)
It has been five weeks and five straight wins for the up-and-coming Detroit Lions as Matthew Stafford and company continue to live up the hype!
The true test will come against the division rival Green Bay Packers in Week 12.
#5 Baltimore Ravens (3-1)
Much like the New Orleans Saints, the Baltimore Ravens are coming off their bye week and were in need of an extra week to get healthy.
