#1 Green Bay Packers (4-0)
It is safe to say after Week 4’s dominant win over the Denver Broncos (49-23), the Green Bay Packers are ready to defend their Super Bowl title this season with superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers playing like the front-runner for the NFL MVP award.
With a career-high six touchdowns and almost 450 total yards against the Broncos, Rodgers is playing the best football of his career and might have hit his prime one season after winning the Super Bowl title.
#2 New Orleans Saints (3-1)
The Green Bay Packers are the only team that has been able to test the New Orleans Saints this season as Drew Brees and company have been unstoppable in the last three weeks with three straight wins.
As of right now, it appears that no team in the NFC Conference will be able to contend with the Saints besides the Packers come playoff time. Drew Brees could also be in the running for the NFL MVP if he can keep playing at a high level throughout the season.
#3 New England Patriots (3-1)
In Week 3, the New England Patriots suffered their first loss of the season to the division rival Buffalo Bills and a lot of people started to wonder if Tom Brady and company could compete for a Super Bowl title this season with such an awful defense.
Last week the Patriots were able to bounce back after an impressive win over a very good Oakland Raiders squad.
#4 Detroit Lions (4-0)
After beating the Dallas Cowboys in an impressive come-from-behind victory in Week 4, the Detroit Lions are officially the real deal and ready to make the playoffs in the NFC Conference. There are still things the Lions need to improve on in order to contend with the best of the best, but as of right now this team is looking very good and ready to finally make it back into the playoffs.
#5 Baltimore Ravens (3-1)
The Baltimore Ravens beat the New York Jets in convincing fashion in Week 4 and as a result are still considered to be an elite team in the NFL this season.
