#1 Green Bay Packers (2-0)
Aaron Rodgers and company stay hot in Week 2 as they hold off rookie phenom Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers. Even though this game was a bit of a close call for the Packers, the defending champs showed their resilience by making a comeback and getting their second win of the season.
#2 New England Patriots (2-0)
There seems to be no stopping the New England Patriots this season as Tom Brady and company are as good as it gets on the offensive side of the football with a seemingly unstoppable passing game. With Tom Brady playing the best football of his career and the Patriots firing on all cylinders right now, New England could eventually make it to number one on this list.
#3 New York Jets (2-0)
After Week 1’s poor performance against the Dallas Cowboys, Rex Ryan and company got back to playing some dominant football in Week 2 on both sides of the football. With the defense holding the Jacksonville Jaguars to just three points and the offense lighting up the scoreboard with 32 points, the Jets are looking very good right now and might be able to challenge the Patriots.
#4 New Orleans Saints (1-1)
The New Orleans Saints may have lost to the defending Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers in Week 1, but they showed that they are among the league’s elite once again this season with an unstoppable offense and Drew Brees playing like a legitimate NFL MVP candidate.
After Week 2 big win over the Chicago Bears, the New Orleans Saints have proven that they are the real deal and ready to compete for another Super Bowl title.
#5 Houston Texans (2-0)
The biggest surprise on this list this week is the Houston Texans. With two impressive wins to start the season, a lot of people have bought into the hype of the Texans as a legitimate playoff team in the AFC Conference; even without running back Arian Foster.
