NFL Power Rankings Week 2: Patriots Reign Supreme

#1 New England Patriots (1-0)

The Patriots were as advertised this past Sunday taking care of the Tennessee Titans without breaking a sweat!

If Tom Brady and company continue to fire on all cylinders, the Ravens might be the only team standing in their way of reaching the Super Bowl for a second consecutive season.

#2 San Francisco 49ers (1-0)

As if starting off their season Lambeau Field wasn’t hard enough, Jim Harbaugh and company were under the pressure of proving their weren’t a fluke in Week 1 and accomplished just that.

After taking down the Packers in Green Bay, the 49ers are legitimate Super Bowl title contenders once again with the perfect mix of offense and defense.

#3 Baltimore Ravens (1-0)

Once Joe Flacco tore up the Cincinnati Bengals defense on Monday night, it became clear that he’s out to prove something this season and he may be the elite quarterback he thinks he is.

The Ravens and Patriots showdown in Week 3 will be highly anticipated with arguably the two best teams in the AFC Conference going head-to-head.

#4 Houston Texans (1-0)

The competition in the AFC South is as weak as it gets, but the Texans are taking full advantage as they look better than ever after destroying the Miami Dolphins.

The true test won’t come until Week 3 against Peyton Manning’s Denver Broncos, but it appears Matt Schaub and company is up for the challenge.

#5 Green Bay Packers (0-1)

Coming into this NFL regular season, Aaron Rodgers and his boy in green and yellow were ready to reclaim their championship form. Unfortunately, the Packers ran into a very good 49ers squad and finished Week 1 winless.

Green Bay is still a legitimate Super Bowl title contender, but won’t be able to afford to slip up with the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears gunning for the NFC North division title.
